Wiktoria Moritz-Leśniak, one of our doctoral students working on this project, published two articles in 2025.Wiktoria has been researching migrant families' relationships with Polish schools attended by their children.
Her newest article"Navigating family migration in social science research" has been in the works for quite some time. The scholars who follow our blog know very well how long authors wait for reviews and what difficulties editors have to find suitable reviewers. Anyway, the paper, published in Lud, the flagship journal of the Polish Ethnological Society, is finally out and we congratulate Wiktoria warmly.

Wiktoria's second article, co-authored with her dissertation advisor, Professor Izabella Main, "Migrant parents at the intesection of vulnerability and the demands of Poland's Education System," was published earlier this year. The paper is part of a special issue of Kultura i Społeczeństwo on vulnerability.
Both articles present an under-researched perspectives of migrant parents regarding their relationship with the Polish educational system.
Happy Readiung!
